"Spectre" did what few Bond films have managed; found a bow and tied the whole thing together. For more than 50 years, we have watched films that felt separated from each other. Sure, the leading man hasn't changed much. There has always been gadgets, women, martinis, clothes, and villains, but never has there been much of a connection from one film to the next. This all changed with the introduction of Daniel Craig as 007. With a new leading man, we got "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace," "Skyfall," and "Spectre." With each film, we learned more about our hero and got a true sense of who he is as a person. Sure, this is still a Bond film. Everything you expect is here, but what makes these films special is their ability to paint a complete picture and their power to bring the whole thing together.
Be good to each other,
-Nathan
