I truly missing hiking in California. From Los Angeles, you might find yourself hiking while the Pacific Ocean plays background. Head east and you will trek through incredible desert landscapes. Drive north and stand in awe of snow-capped mountains. My journey to Aspen Glen Skyline Loop was my first visit to Big Bear and presented the perfect opportunity to continue my training for the Pacific Crest Trail. With nothing to hold but these photos, I am reminded how happy living in LA made me. From there, almost anything felt possible.
